Special Trip: Feria de Abril in Seville
In April, we will travel together with María to the Feria de Abril in Seville. This is a unique opportunity to experience the dance, music, and atmosphere of Andalusia firsthand. You will see how the Sevillanos celebrate, and you will have the chance to dance along at this vibrant and colourful event.
Let yourself be carried away by the rhythm of flamenco and Sevillanas in The Hague. No previous experience is needed to join our beginner flamenco classes in The Hague or Sevillanas dance lessons. María Robles, an experienced flamenco dancer from Seville, brings the soul of authentic Spanish dance directly to the “City of Peace and Justice.”
In María’s flamenco and Sevillanas classes, the focus is on enjoyment, culture, and a personal approach. You will learn all the essential elements of flamenco dance, including powerful footwork, elegant arm and hand movements, and rhythmic hand clapping (palmas). For Sevillanas, you will discover the joyful partner-based structure and traditional steps often danced at Spanish festivals and ferias.
More than just technique, María teaches the cultural meaning behind each movement and rhythm, helping you truly understand and experience Spanish dance traditions. These classes are ideal for anyone looking for Spanish dance classes in The Hague, whether for fun, fitness, or cultural enrichment.
Missing her musical family, María creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere where every student feels at home. She dances, sings, and plays the cajón, offering a fully immersive experience in Andalusian culture. With her guidance, you will build a solid foundation step by step in a supportive and inspiring environment.
